Thanks for helping us out with the beta testing of DataShareAPS.  After activation, the software should be ready to use in your day-to-day work, but some background information might be helpful:

The DataShareAPS software is not new.  I have been using many components in-house for years and only after many requests for the software from other appraisers, did I begin the 2-year process of assembling the components and modules in a system which I could be sure was useable by (safe for) others. What do I mean by "safe for others"?  Well, as many of you know, I am both a programmer and an appraiser.  For years, original portions of the software ran in a development environment where I could make programming changes "on the fly".  So as I was working on an appraisal, I would get an idea for a new feature and test the software changes in real-time.  (This is why many of my appraisals were delivered late.) I still develop new software features this way, but one of the goals of the beta test program is to find any leftover programming hooks like "Stop", "Test", or "Link". If you run into any of these, send in a bug report and I will clean it up.

Another objective of the beta test program is to improve the operator interface. The software works great from the Power-User perspective, but I would like to make it user-friendlier for the typical user while still retaining all of the power features. Please give me your suggestions for improvement in this area.

At this point, I don't think there are may true "bugs" left in the software, but that is the purpose of this test program.

Good luck with the software.  I look forward to your feedback.  And thanks for your participation in the test program.
