Some data or software providers may be openly hostile to the use of DataShareAPS data technologies in conjunction with their data or products. As an incentive to partnering with DataShareAPS in some mutually beneficial manner, we can provision special safeguards against proliferation of proprietary data or services. Alternatively, we can programattically exclude information from specific providers from traversing our software, but this is not our preferred approach because to do so would not be in the best interest of the appraisal professional.
